Hyper-connectivity, distraction, and a sense of being disconnected from self are some of the unintended consequences of technological advancements. The creation of physical spaces such as saunas, steams rooms or pools, whether in apartment complexes or private homes, should be a place of refuge from this constant stimulation, but unfortunately, they are massively under-used.

These spaces get forgotten because they only serve a single purpose and the designs lack in functionality, personalization, and warmth.  They are difficult and expensive to maintain, they constantly drain energy, the materials used in construction have seen minimal advancements, and they lack sequence or customization.

Circle Wellness Studios specializes in wellness design for the 21st and 22nd century. Through the use of new design concepts, specialized materials and customized sequencing, our sustainable wellness spaces grow and evolve with the people who use them, and eliminate the problems of waste and disconnection associated with traditional wellness amenities.

In short, we create wellness spaces that people actually use.

For the past 7 years I have been researching and designing wellness amenities that people want to use. I travelled to Korea, Japan, and Europe to study and witness how wellness is achieved through design by cultures who have ancient and well understood techniques.

I researched and experimented with different materials and technologies, such as salt, charcoal, minerals, heating systems, control systems, and building techniques to create functional wellness designs that people actually want to use.

Instead of static and single-purpose amenities, we create spaces that can be used for many things, such as meditation, movement, or sauna, and that use modern technology to program and sequence the experience for the lifestyle of the people who are using them.

Combining experiential concepts, specialized materials and modern technology from around the world, Circle Wellness Studios creates not just wellness amenities, but multi-sensory wellness experiences.
